Annie is a yoga teacher, retreat leader and founder of the practice. She is always up to amazing things and we create content that supports all of it.
Annie is one of those people you feel you've known all your life, even though it hasn't been that long. The first time I worked with Annie outside of lululemon, we were documenting her beautiful growing babe in a maternity session. Since then, we've worked together multiple times and built a content library for her to dip into for both The Practice and her own social channels.
EVERY SINGLE ONE OF MY CLIENTS PREPARES DIFFERENTLY, AND I AM SO HAPPY TO ADJUST TO THEM. I WANTED TO HIGHLIGHT THE WAY ANNIE PLANS FOR HER SESSIONS BECAUSE SHE CREATES SO MUCH EASE IN OUR TIME TOGETHER.
In the days before the session, Annie sends over a mood board, message and/or voicenote. She shares the types of content and intentions behind everything she's hoping to create. Her clear communication allows me to get on board and begin thinking about how the day will flow. We both know what we're doing by the time we meet for the session; she has all the outfits, and we fly through the filming. Because she's done all the prep work, she knows exactly what to expect in the deliverables and can begin planning her social posts.

WHY THIS WORKS: SOME OF THE IMAGERY IS MY WORK, SO I KNOW IT CAN BE DONE, AND I KNOW WHAT SORT OF SPACE OR LIGHTING WE'LL NEED. I CAN SHARE WITH HER WHAT IS POSSIBLE AND WHAT WON'T WORK.
