Psycle

Interior Studio Photography Across Five London Locations

Psycle operates numerous studios across London where they offer spin, strength, reformer, barre, yoga, and infrared. When a new website required fresh, location-focused imagery across the locations, the brief was direct: premium, chic and high quality. Images that make someone land on the site and want to book.

This project covered five locations: Oxford Circus, Victoria, London Bridge, Clapham Junction, and Shoreditch. Shot across three days, delivered as 464 fully edited and retouched images.

The Project

Five locations means five distinct spaces, each with their own layout, lighting conditions, and set requirements. The project was structured across three days to cover the locations as they spanned across London.

The brief required a clear shot list including spin studios, strength floors, reformer and barre rooms, yoga and infrared studios, change rooms, and common areas at each site. It also required a consistent approach to how each space was framed, and enough time built into each location to capture everything.

On-Set Precision

Shooting a brand's physical locations to website standard means every detail in frame has to be intentional.

Before a single image was captured, each space was prepped. Lighting was set to the client's specification. Bins, signage, and anything that didn't belong in the frame was removed on set and cleaned up further in post. Equipment was dressed: in the strength studio, that means Nike ticks facing the correct direction and in barre the branding faced outwards, spin bikes with older branding were moved or edited.

A Psycle team member was on set throughout to assist with preparation and to sign off on each space before shooting began. The attention to detail is visible in every frame.

The Images

The full delivery covers every corner of the Psycle spaces with no people in the frames. The focus is the spaces themselves.

Some of the most valuable images in the set are the detail shots. Branding on equipment, textures in the space, shelves with props and accessories. The things a member might walk past without registering, but that communicate exactly what kind of brand Psycle is. On a website, those images do the work of setting expectation before someone has visited a studio.

The full library sits alongside a redesigned digital presence built to convert visitors into bookings.

The Result

The brief was to create content that feels premium and high quality. Content that makes someone land on the website and want to book. Looking at the final images, that's what was delivered.

"It's always a pleasure working with Des. She has such a great eye for detail and always manages to capture the energy. Professional, creative and delivers content that feels elevated, warm and natural."
